I mentioned the Antique Alley Show on my April Events post. Mom and I had never been before, but it worked out for us to go yesterday. Several other friends joined us and we all had a blast and came back with a couple of truck loads! The event runs approximately 35 miles from Maypearl, TX to Cleburne, TX with many stops along the way (Faith Meadows, Burds Nest, Whipp Farm). Check out
this site and
this site for more information.
I hate that I didn't take pictures of the fields full of tents and treasures. But, I did take a picture of my favorite purchase!
Isn't she a beauty? Chippy white paint, great green paint revealed...
Original hardware...
All the little shelves in tact...
And last, but certainly not least - original casters!
I like to imagine that a sweet family stored jars of jelly in this little cabinet. I do plan to sell her since my dream farmhouse is years away, but I just might have to be picky about where she ends up! And I'll need right of first refusal to purchase her back if they ever tire of her!
The next Antique Alley event is September 21st-23rd!
