Grain Sack-Look in the Kitchen

I was catching up on some of my favorite blogs this morning and I came across Honey's post over at 2805.  I was instantly in love with the grain sack-look kitchen towels that she shared!  They match my kitchen perfectly.  I called our closest Target and they didn't have any in stock and mentioned something about discontinued...what?!  I called the next closest Target and they had four...oh, sweet success!  I had them hold two for me at Guest Services and I picked them up tonight.

So, I bring them home (all giddy of course) and started trying to fold them.  The placement of the print makes them difficult to fold.  I had them laying out flat on the island and I happened to notice that I could put them back-to-back and create a great runner!  And just look at how they match my Dash and Albert rug!
Now, I know my mom just looked at this picture and said outloud "oh my goodness she didn't even iron those first".  I know, I know - I was just trying it out for size.  I'll have to iron and sew and you know make it perfect.

These towels are only $3.99 each.  Honey's post includes the stock number - note they do not sell these online.  Good luck!

They look great, ironed or not. I've got to call our Target and see if they have any. I went the other day and got totally sidetracked and didn't even look for them. Have a great Tuesday, T

Wow, I wonder if my Target has them. I'll calling now!! Oops, it's not even 7 am, maybe I'll wait a little bit. I love that look and you are right, it goes so well with your rug.

I just bought some of these towels too...love them! I was thinking of making pillows or draping them over the backs of a couple of chairs. Looks like we like the same stuff :) Laurel@chippingwithcharm
