Mid-Winter Antiques Show - Brenham, Texas

Hi friends - hope you have all had a great weekend!  I had a great weekend that included a junkin road trip with mom and getting to finally meet a treasured blog friend!  We hit the road before 6:00am on Saturday to travel to Brenham.  We knew that Theresa was going to be a vendor at the Mid-Winter Antiques Show and I've been dying to meet her for so long!  Theresa was one of my first 4 Followers and let's just say I only had 4 for a good long while.  She was very helpful to me in getting my blog started and I've admired her displays  since I started blogging.

Speaking of her displays - check out her awesome space:

Me and Sweet T!

I was also excited about visiting Brenham because I have heard so much about Leftovers Antiques.  I must say - everything I've heard is true.  It is amazing - 10,000 sq.ft. of the grandest scale items you may have ever seen.  Mom and I just kept talking about the scale of the doors, the chandeliers, the furniture - everything!  I didn't take many photos - I think I was in some sort of overload shock!

We left Brenham after a great lunch and made a stop on the way home in Navasota.  We loaded up on more treasures in that small town and drove home pretty darn happy with our day of junkin!

Oh wow ... that looks like the kind of places where I love to shop! I see a couple of white pitchers that would look great in my house. :) Sounds like you had a great time.
