I never thought I'd say I found my new love online...well sortof. It was actually a listing on Craigslist for an antique backplate - like off of a buffet or sideboard. Bad news - it was in Greenville, TX which is about an hour-and-a-half away. Good news - it was at a store so I was able to call and give my credit card number to hold it. Sweet! I did not take a "before" picture but it was so sad - dirty, dry and dull. I just knew it could be made beautiful again and honestly, it turned out better than I expected.
I hung it in our master bathroom - above the double doors that lead to our closet.
Here is a zoomed out shot so you can see how it complements the antique frame that hangs above our garden tub.
Another new-old treasure...love it!

Awesomeness!!!
I really like it. Great idea to hang it here, and how nice that it mirrors the other one.
What a great find! It looks so nice in your master bath.
I love that piece! I am a sucker for any architectural-y looking wood.
