Lone Star Antique Mall & a finished project

I've had it on my list to visit Lone Star Antique Mall in Haltom City for some time now.  I had heard great things about it and knew that I could find Ruby Grace's there as well.  My boys had lots of baseball this weekend, but mom and I were able to check out the mall on Sunday afternoon.  Here are a few pictures of some of our favorite booths:

We saw more architectural pieces and primitives than we've seen locally in quite some time.

Also on Sunday evening I finished up a client project:
I used two Annie Sloan Chalk Paint colors and my combo wax.  I couldn't resist putting some white platters and plates in it - LOVE!

Love love Felicia Blair's booth and Denis always has great things in his as well! Wish I were going that way to see them. It's been forever since I've been there.

You should try the new antique mall @ Rufe Snow, not too far from Lone Star...they are new and the tornado recently shut them down for awhile, but they are open again. My favorite is Junker Val's booth. She's great!

The booths look so fun, and great paininting job! Is that piece going on top of something else? Either way, I love it, and the plates are perfect.

I am so glad you came to visit Lone Star! I wish I could have been there to say hello. I am glad you guys had fun and thanks for the wonderful pictures. Unless my plans change, I am going to come out and visit you guys this weekend in Lewisville. Although I love the lumberyard, I do think the airconditioning is going to be a blessing! See you soon!

Glad you got to visit Lonestar. We have a booth there and love it. Denis's red booth is my absolute favorite and I've purchased quite a few red things from him. Hope you get to stop by again soon.
